Jan Edwards-Webster, EdD, MEd
Adjunct Professor
Jan Webster, EdD, MEd has served as an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Education in Health Professions Education (DHPE/Ed.D.) program since 2016. She earned graduate degrees in education from Gardner-Webb University and North Carolina Central University.
Dr. Webster taught in the K-12 setting before transitioning to the collegiate level, where she found her true calling. She served as a career services director and associate dean, while aiding in the conversion of Beulah Heights University’s Bachelor of Arts programs to master’s-level programs.
Before coming to Logan, Dr. Webster was an associate professor of mathematics at Heald College, where she also served as professor and curriculum developer.
Dr. Webster’s practitioner work as educator spans two decades in multiple educational settings. Her research interests include brain-based learning and diversity issues in adult education and her favorite part of being in education is connecting with her students and helping facilitate the process of realizing their dreams.
In her free time, Dr. Webster enjoys reading, walking, entertaining, organizing, gardening and spending time with family.
